Our Team

Dr. Jacki attended CITCM for Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a registered Acupuncturist with the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta. Also, a certified Gold Level Balance Method practitioner by the late Dr. Richard Tehfu Tan and member/faculty assistant of The Academy of Acupuncture and the World Health Initiative Medical Missions (founded by Dr. Eileen Yueling Han) through which she and her husband Gord combine the love of medicine and travel to provide care to those in countries without medical means or access.

I’m an experienced Acupuncturist and a firm believer in taking a holistic approach to healing. This means to look at the person, in their entirety: their body, mind and spirit.

Through my practice, I strive to promote the well-being of patients, to keep their mind, body, and spirit healthy. Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture has interested me for roughly 15 years. It was through my own needs that I became aware of Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, and many of its components. These treatments have treated members of my family, friends, and myself without side effects.

Patients have had many successful treatments in clinic with me. On occasion becoming pain free after years of suffering. I create individual treatment plans based on patient discussions and needs. By providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere for treatments patients relax and therefore receive optimum treatments. I enjoy seeing patients get results and therefore look forward to their treatments. I believe continued learning is important for any acupuncturist, thus I continuously look to integrate new treatments and therapies into my practice to help patients.

In July of 2023 I completed my Acutonics® Certification the Acutonics Certification Program dovetails beautifully with my training as an acupuncturist providing an adjunct therapy that can be integrated with acupuncture treatments or stand on its own. The full certification program is approximately 400 hours and includes the completion of a thesis.
